Rudy

Meet Rudy! This bundle of sweet chaos was born on September 14, 2024 to an AKC breeder in Houston, Texas. Rudy meets every new experience with confidence and curiosity. Everyone he meets is a new friend and playmate!

Rudy is crate trained and will often put himself to bed. Because he is still a little guy he needs to be let out to potty during the night. Rudy learned to use the doggie door quickly and goes outside to potty on his own, even in the rain and snow! By the way, Rudy loves the snow!

Rudy is food motivated and willing to learn. He just discovered peanut butter and it’s delicious! Nothing is safe with this adorable long legged brindle land shark. Everything is considered a toy including things just out of reach.

Rudy has two foster siblings (greyhound and pitbull) that he adores. He loves to run and play all hours of the day. He loves to play with toys and will make toys out of sticks if they are close by. He will often snuggle up to one of his foster siblings to sleep. Rudy does not have experience with cats. He is a smart fellow and learns quickly. He may be very curious and maybe a little rough at first while boundaries are being set.

Rudy is learning to walk with a harness and enjoys new adventures; he has found that cars are very scary when they drive by. Speaking of cars, Rudy is still learning to ride like a gentleman. He will often just lay down and watch the world pass by.

It’s not often that this energy ball sits still, though when he does, he enjoys endless cuddles and kisses. He can often be found taking a nap with his foster dad on the couch.

Rudy’s foster parents are home during the day and he has only been left alone for a couple of hours. He handles it like a very good boy.

Although Rudy doesn’t like taking baths, he will do so with constant praise and reassurance. He will scream bloody murder when you try to clean his floppy ears. He will be a wonderful addition to any family looking for a young fella!
