Geo is a 2 year old, black, male greyhound. His sire is Gigawatt and his dam is CTW Giftofbronze. He and Moby are siblings. Geo has no races to his credit. He is currently undergoing medical evaluation. We do know that Geo is not cat or small dog tolerant.

There are a number of websites, including, that allow you to trace the pedigree and racing history of registered greyhounds by looking up their racing name or their sire and dam.

We call 2 year old Geo the “toy boy” because he’s crazy about toys. In fact, the day he came to us he picked up a stuffed pink flamingo at the kennel before his ride home to our house and insisted on taking it with him. He proudly carried it right through our front door when he arrived and he still plays with it. His toy obsession has him enthusiastically tossing, pouncing on, and catching toys in mid-air for a good part of the time he is awake. For all his energy, Geo is a remarkably laid back, extremely gentle young boy who still has a fair amount of “puppy” in him.

Geo’s shiny black coat and gorgeous amber eyes add to his overall strikingly handsome appearance. Although he’s an avid eater, he willingly takes gentlemanly turns with his foster sister when it’s time for treats. He’s delighted by rides in the car, and and he rides well. Geo is also enthusiastic about his walks, walks well on the leash, and he has excellent house manners. He’s a spirited, playful boy who’s also very loving, happy, and affectionate. He’ll do best in a home with another dog or someone who is home most of the time. Geo is too interested cats to live with them.
