Pavlov

Pavlov is a Certified Gentleman, Toy Collector, and Very Good Boy! He’s handsome, sweet, and wonderfully easy to live with. He quickly settled into his foster home and schedule, and he greeted everyone he’s met with calm friendliness—including children ages 8 and older.

Pavlov’s house manners earn high marks. There was one tiny counter-related incident, but in his defense, a human left food far too close to the edge—clearly a management error. Otherwise, he has shown no counter surfing, destructive behavior, or household mischief. He trots into his crate for a small treat and waits patiently for his person to return. He has also done well loose in the house for short periods. Pavlov currently lives as an only dog and seems perfectly content with human company.

Pavlov’s Favorite Things

• Food: Pavlov is an enthusiastic member of the Clean Bowl Club; he waits politely for meals and shows no food aggression.
• Toys: His special talent is emptying the toy basket and arranging his treasures in and around his bed. Squeaking and shaking are encouraged; toy destruction is not his style.
• Walks: Early-morning strolls are a favorite. Pavlov notices squirrels, rabbits, and other small animals – he keeps his manners, does not lunge, and can be redirected to continue on his way.
• Petting: His ideal agenda includes plenty of affection followed by quality hangout time with his favorite human.

If you are looking for a calm, affectionate companion with excellent manners, a playful toy habit, and a very handsome face, Pavlov may be the gentleman you have been waiting for – so long as you don’t have felines.
