Moe
Moe is a handsome blue male born May 13, 2021. His sire is Ritza Lenny and his dam is Beat The Bank. Moe has 35 races in New South Wales to his credit before retiring to find a couch to call his own.
Moe is a sweet and fun loving fellow! He enjoys being in close proximity to his human companions, and will find a place to lay wherever they are. He gets excited about walks, seeing squirrels, and when it’s time to eat.
Moe walks well on a leash. He will pull and get excited if he sees a squirrel. He has done well with greeting other dogs on walks, though we have not observed his interactions with other dogs for a longer period of time. Moe enjoys playing with his toys, playing fetch with a squeaky ball, looking out the window for squirrels, and if he does bark – it’s mostly at squirrels.
He will sniff around the yard and look for squirrels, then after 5-10 minutes he’s ready to come inside. He would do well in a home with a big or small yard. Walks are his favorite activity, so adopters that are willing to walk him will be important.
Moe has been a perfect gentleman when left at home for up to 6 hours without being crated. Moe sleeps well in his bed all night. As soon as he wakes up around 6:30, he is anxious to go outside, have breakfast, and take a walk. He may jump on your bed and make you wake up if it is too late for him!
He lies down during the day, and if humans are around he will be constantly up looking to see what they are doing. He is not a couch potato. He behaved well during both a bath and nail trim. Moe seemed mostly unfazed by thunder and lightning during a recent overnight storm.
Due to his interest in squirrels, Moe should not live with cats.
