GALT is charging an adoption fee of $750 for Australian retired racing greyhounds 7 years and younger and $650 for those 8 and over.
The Australian greyhounds arrive to us spayed or neutered with current rabies vaccinations. The transportation cost averages $1,620 per dog, and GALT spends another approximately $400 for CBC blood work with heartworm test, Protatek testing, dental and vaccinations required for this environment.
For its almost 22 years in existence, GALT has operated as a 501 (c) 3 Corporation. The Australian retired racers’ adoption fee correlates to this policy.

Jan, aka Janerio Bale, born August 25, 2021, is a lovely fawn girl. Her sire is Konomi and her dam is Dyna Maddie. Jan is not individually registered and has no races to her credit.
Jan is a wiggle pot! She is a beautiful, bouncy, energetic girl who loves to run and play! She is also a very friendly dog who loves people, attention, pats, cuddles and a kind word. She is a softy at heart and would most suit an active household at this stage, a family with older children or a couple or person who loves to run, go on long walks, hiking and adventures. Jan likes to chase balls and loves swimming in dams, even in winter, and just likes to be with you and be occupied. She does rest normally during the day and have down time though would not suit workers. She would need a large yard and she could live with another grey. Jan would make a fun, loving companion to grow with and she would return all the love you give her.
