Heidi

Heidi is a beautiful four-year-old girl who is waiting for the right home. Initially a bit shy, she quickly blossomed showing her playful side as she explored all the toys and darted around the yard. To ensure her safety during walks, it’s recommended to use a harness, as her high prey drive makes her prone to pulling if she sees a bunny or squirrel. No cats or small dogs for this stunning girl.

Heidi will thrive as an only dog, where she can be the center of attention. Not only is she a hearty eater who eagerly barks to remind you when it’s time for breakfast and dinner, her house manners are excellent. Heidi has shown no interest in chewing inappropriately, and she needed just one prompt to learn that potty time is outside. She doesn’t counter-surf and she willingly crates when we go out, displaying no separation anxiety. Storms and loud noises don’t faze her at all. Car rides are a highlight of her day. She jumps right in and out on her own, and either sits and looks out the window or goes to sleep.

Heidi is learning to crave affection and she comes to us for tummy rubs and ear scritchies more and more often. She’s a joyful girl, full of fun and enthusiasm for new adventures. If you’re looking for a girl who will become your loving companion, you must meet Heidi!
