The Australian greyhounds arrive to us spayed or neutered with current rabies vaccinations. The transportation cost averages $1,620 per dog, and GALT spends another approximately $400 for CBC blood work with heartworm test, Protatek testing, dental and vaccinations required for this environment.

For its almost 22 years in existence, GALT has operated as a 501 (c) 3 Corporation. The Australian retired racers’ adoption fee correlates to this policy.

Coco, aka Metal Torc, is a blue fawn female born October 10, 2020. Her sire is Barcia Bale and his dam is Wayang Angel. Coco ran 54 races before coming to GALT. Coco will be evaluated with small animals and cats soon.

Coco is a stunning blue fawn girl who is absolutely gorgeous. She is very affectionate and loves pats. She is friendly, calm and sociable with all people she meets and good with kids 6+, who walk her easily on the lead. Coco is sociable with other greys and friendly with the family Blue Heeler. She hasn’t been small dog or cat tested though is a gentle girl who should get along with a family dog if introduced slowly. Coco would truly make the most wonderful pet companion, loving and gentle, suitable for most households from families to retirees. She would love a morning run (zoomie), walk or play and be happy to rest during the day as she gets used to indoor living, which she would just love. A couch beckons!
