GALT is charging an adoption fee of $750 for Australian retired racing greyhounds 7 years and younger and $650 for those 8 and over.
The Australian greyhounds arrive to us spayed or neutered with current rabies vaccinations. The transportation cost averages $1,620 per dog, and GALT spends another approximately $400 for CBC blood work with heartworm test, Protatek testing, dental and vaccinations required for this environment.
For its almost 22 years in existence, GALT has operated as a 501 (c) 3 Corporation. The Australian retired racers’ adoption fee correlates to this policy.

Cleveland, aka Hey Cleveland, born February 6, 2021, is a soulful, social handsome black male. His sire is Aston Kimetto and his dam is Aston Ginger. Cleveland had 11 maiden races to his credit before falling and ending his racing career. His sweet nature is more compatible with people.
Cleveland is a gentle, old soul, with a laid-back attitude. He can be a bit shy at first but after a pat on the head or a scratch behind the ear, Cleveland will become your best friend for life. Cleveland has experience with medium and large dogs and gets on great with them. He loves a run around or joining his human on a walk, but they come second to his favorite hobbies; lying out in the sun and taking long naps! Cleveland is a chilled out, easy going guy who would make a wonderful addition to almost any home.
