Pavlov

Pavlov is a friendly and engaging boy who enjoys being involved in family life and spending time with people. He presents as social, playful, and affectionate, showing a confident and curious nature throughout his assessment. Pavlov appears to enjoy companionship and interaction, while also settling nicely once comfortable in his environment.

Pavlov has experience living successfully with a medium-sized Kelpie, where there were reportedly no concerns and the dogs could be left unsupervised together. While this is very encouraging, Pavlov would still require further introductions and assessment around smaller breeds. At this stage, he has shown potential to continue developing appropriate interactions with little dogs, however slow, structured introductions and ongoing guidance would be recommended to help set him up for success.

Pavlov is not considered cat workable. During assessment with a household cat, he displayed excessive and inappropriate interest, therefore a cat-free home will be essential for his ongoing management and safety. Pavlov has interacted positively with children aged 3 years and older and reportedly enjoys playing and engaging with them. His social and playful personality suggests he would likely thrive in a family environment where he can be included in activities and enjoy regular companionship and enrichment.

During assessment, Pavlov displayed a generally low prey drive with little to no interest shown toward movement-based stimuli outside of his cat interactions. His relaxed responses in most settings suggest he is likely to adapt well to a domestic lifestyle with continued structure and routine.

Overall, Pavlov is a fun, affectionate, and sociable boy who would thrive in a loving home willing to provide ongoing guidance, enrichment, and plenty of inclusion as part of the family.
