Penny

Penny is a pretty brindle born on June 23, 2022. Her sire is Jungle Deuce, and her dam is Little Nangar. Penny had 34 races before retiring in January 2026 to find a home in the US.

Penny is a calm and gentle girl who enjoys taking life at an easy pace. She has a lovely, relaxed nature and approaches new situations with quiet confidence. Penny has shown herself to be very responsive to her handler and is able to redirect easily when asked, making her a pleasure to spend time with.

Penny has been assessed with a small dog (a Cavoodle) and showed calm, appropriate behavior with no concerning reactions. She remained relaxed and polite, indicating she could comfortably live in a home with a small dog companion. When assessed with cats, however, Penny showed a higher level of interest. While she was able to disengage when called, her curiosity suggests she would not be suitable to live with cats without significant further training and exposure.

Penny has also been exposed to children of various ages and handled the interactions well. Due to her size and enthusiasm at times, a home with children aged 10 years and over would be recommended.

With a low prey drive and the ability to redirect easily, Penny would make a wonderful companion for a family or individual looking for a sweet, easy-going greyhound to welcome into their home.
