Penelope 
Penelope is a lovely black female born October 12, 2022. Her sire is Ultimate Speed, and her dam is Mill Express. She had 16 races at various tracks in New South Wales before retiring in October 2025.
Penelope is a sweet and gentle greyhound with a calm, easy-going nature. She has lovely manners and enjoys being around people, making her a wonderful companion.
When introduced to small dogs, Penelope showed polite behavior and no reactions while on lead. She handled the interaction well, though continued exposure will help build her confidence further. Her response to cats has been mixed but positive so far. During her robotic cat assessment she showed no reaction to the presentation, sound, or movement, calmly sniffing before walking away. Further testing would still be recommended before confirming suitability in a home with cats.
Penelope has been exposed to children and managed these interactions well, however a home with children aged 8+ would be most suitable. She has demonstrated a low prey drive with little interest in chasing behavior. With her gentle temperament and lovely manners, Penelope is sure to make a beautiful companion
