Bubbles

Bubbles is a sweet little lady looking for her happily ever after. When she came to my house she wasn’t sure what to expect from home life. She was skittish about loud or unexpected noises and a bit shy. Her expectations were so low she didn’t seem to understand that the dog beds and toys were for her. As she has settled in she has gradually become more confident, warming up to people and learning to enjoy dog beds and to play a little with toys.

Bubbles has very good house manners. Note: I wouldn’t leave unattended food too close to the edge of the counter. She understands “No” and wants to be a good girl but food is very tempting. Even though she has 8 teeth, that hasn’t stopped her loving her food! She crates well and also has been fine when left loose in the house together with my dog when I go out. She gets along very well with my dog and doesn’t seem to be dependent on him. No kitties please, she is a bit too interested in chasing them.

Bubbles has found a few favorite safe places to nap, like my closet and quiet corners in the house. She also likes to spend a lot of time hanging out close to me. Whenever I sit down at my desk she crawls under the desk and curls up to nap with her head on my foot. She also very much wants to accompany me to the bathroom. It doesn’t matter how small the space is, she will happily squeeze in.

Bubbles favorite things are food, being petted, taking walks with lots of sniffing along the way, getting toys out of the toy basket and having an occasional roll in the grass in the backyard. She needs a boost to get in an SUV and can jump out when you reach the destination. She would like a quiet home with someone who will love her and give her the chance to continue learning how to relax and enjoy the comforts of a home.
