GALT is charging an adoption fee of $750 for Australian retired racing greyhounds 7 years and younger and $650 for those 8 and over.
The Australian greyhounds arrive to us spayed or neutered with current rabies vaccinations. The transportation cost averages $1,620 per dog, and GALT spends another approximately $400 for CBC blood work with heartworm test, Protatek testing, dental and vaccinations required for this environment.
For its almost 22 years in existence, GALT has operated as a 501 (c) 3 Corporation. The Australian retired racers’ adoption fee correlates to this policy.

Bella, aka Airstream, is a beautiful brindle female born November 22, 2021. Her sire is Superior Panama and her dam is Mercedes Dior; Bella has a whopping 2 races in Australia before racing to GALT. Bella could get along with children and small dogs.
Bella is a beautiful, calm and loving dog with a stunning personality. She is a dog who is the best of both worlds; friendly, social, and loving, but also quiet, calm, and sophisticated.
Bella was tailor made to be a pet. She enjoys her walks and is great on the lead and she loves to make friends with other dogs! She has experience living with Jack Russells and got on great with them. It’s not just tiny dogs that Bella likes, she is also very fond of tiny humans- she loves kids! Bella has experience with a 2-year-old and was always very well behaved with them.
Bella would make a wonderful companion in almost any kind of home and could live happily as the only dog or in a home with another dog- she’s just so lovely! If you’re looking for a dog who is simply gorgeous inside and out (and looks great in a sweater!) than look no further than beautiful Bella!
