GALT is charging an adoption fee of $750 for Australian retired racing greyhounds 7 years and younger and $650 for those 8 and over.
The Australian greyhounds arrive to us spayed or neutered with current rabies vaccinations. The transportation cost averages $1,620 per dog, and GALT spends another approximately $400 for CBC blood work with heartworm test, Protatek testing, dental and vaccinations required for this environment.
For its almost 22 years in existence, GALT has operated as a 501 (c) 3 Corporation. The Australian retired racers’ adoption fee correlates to this policy.

Lovely Mia is a beautiful black female with a blaze on her chest, she was born November 14, 2021. Her sire is Superior Panama and her dam is Platinum Secret. Mia did not race, opting instead to be a homebody.
Meet Mia, a very playful and spirited girl who would absolutely love a backyard to call her own! She enjoys having fun, running around, and chasing toys, but also likes to keep to herself a bit more, making her a great fit for a home with older kids who understand her need for personal space. Mia is always happy to receive pats and affection, though she may take a little time to settle on the lead.
