Goodie
Goodie, aka Kells Lifeisgood, is a 3 year old black female born on September 16, 2018. Her sire is Flying Fired Up and her dam is Kells Believer. Goodie has 9 races to her credit and had 6 offspring. She is cat tolerant.
Goodie is a 3.5 year old black beauty. This former racing dog is super shy and is still adjusting to retirement life. Goodie quickly learned to enjoy the comfort of a dog bed and will pace the floor if one of her foster siblings is in the bed she wants. Once in her favored bed, she sometimes gets growly if another dog gets too close.
Goodie likes to relax by roaching and laying at the top of the stairs. Occasionally, the television will catch her attention. Although she is still figuring out most toys, chew toys with peanut butter help to keep her occupied during the day.
Goodie is a quiet dog, she rarely barks, and is kitty indifferent. Goodie’s forever family should be on the quiet or calm side so as not to spook her already shy demeanor. She will sometimes seek out pets or ear rubs, though she needs help working on her confidence. Once you gaze into her big brown eyes, you’ll want to make it your mission to earn the trust of this sweet, shy girl!
She would do best with one or two dogs to help show her the way and teach her to relax. Due to her bed guarding, Goodie should not live with young children. The ambient noise of an apartment will not suit Goodie’s sensitive nature. Mainly, Goodie just needs a forever family full of love and patience to help her to continue to come out of her shell.
