GALT is charging an adoption fee of $750 for Australian retired racing greyhounds 7 years and younger and $650 for those 8 and over.
The Australian greyhounds arrive to us spayed or neutered with current rabies vaccinations. The transportation cost averages $1,620 per dog, and GALT spends another approximately $400 for CBC blood work with heartworm test, Protatek testing, dental and vaccinations required for this environment.
For its almost 22 years in existence, GALT has operated as a 501 (c) 3 Corporation. The Australian retired racers’ adoption fee correlates to this policy.

Gonzie, aka Skirving, born January 25, 2020 is a striking black male. His sire is Mogambo and his dam is Azalea Monelli. Gonzie had 29 races to his credit in Australia before retiring and preparing for his trip to America. Gonzie should not live with cats.
Gonzie is a smiley, friendly boy looking for his forever home. Gonzie is a dog who likes to stay active and get his steps in! He loves going on big walks, especially when that walk leads to the park! The exercise doesn’t stop there, Gonzie loves to run around chasing tennis balls, making sure to get all the zoomies out! Gonzie is also social, he loves to play with kids (especially if they can throw a tennis ball for him!). He is also cat workable. If you’re looking for a happy dog with a lust for life, you cannot go wrong by welcoming Gonzie into your home!
