GALT is charging an adoption fee of $750 for Australian retired racing greyhounds 7 years and younger and $650 for those 8 and over.
The Australian greyhounds arrive to us spayed or neutered with current rabies vaccinations. The transportation cost averages $1,620 per dog, and GALT spends another approximately $400 for CBC blood work with heartworm test, Protatek testing, dental and vaccinations required for this environment.
For its almost 22 years in existence, GALT has operated as a 501 (c) 3 Corporation. The Australian retired racers’ adoption fee correlates to this policy.

Dot, born January 11, 2022, is a young fawn beauty with soulful eyes. Her sire is Fernando Bale and her dam is Tiggerlong Ginga. Dot is not individually registered and has no races to her credit.
Dot is a wonderful girl with a beautiful nature. She is an attention magnet who just adores cuddles, pats and company in general. Dot is a foodie and loves to get her toast in the morning! She is social girl and gets on well with other dogs. Dot really enjoys her walks, mainly because she gets to spend time with you! Whoever is lucky enough to have Dot in their life will not be disappointed.
