The Australian greyhounds arrive to us spayed or neutered with current rabies vaccinations. The transportation cost averages $1,620 per dog, and GALT spends another approximately $400 for CBC blood work with heartworm test, Protatek testing, dental and vaccinations required for this environment.
For its almost 22 years in existence, GALT has operated as a 501 (c) 3 Corporation. The Australian retired racers’ adoption fee correlates to this policy.

Dex, aka Yeah Easy, is a light brindle male born September 11, 2018. His sire is Fernando Bale and his dam is Only Want Mum. Dex comes to GALT from Australia where he ran 69 races. Dex should not live with cats.
He’s great with dogs! Excellent with other greyhounds and also the West Highland Terrier and Italian Greyhound he met.
Dex is a friendly and social boy who loves people. This tender boy loves to receive affection and cuddles.
He enjoys adventures, walks well on his lead and looks forward to exploring the world with you.
Dex will need access for potty breaks – he tends to need to go more when excited or nervous.
