Cheeky

Cheeky is a friendly and affectionate greyhound who loves to be petted and near her people. She is super curious and sure to assist in all of your day-to-day activities never leaving your side. She loves to snuggle and is a great roacher, often with her tongue hanging out. Cheeky loves playtime with a fun squeaky or crinkle toys. Sometimes we find her playing catch with herself.

 

She gets along well with our family greyhound and older children. She has not had any accidents in the house and lets you know when she wants to go out. She does well in the crate for short periods of time (3-4 hours) when we leave the house. She does well with carpeted stairs, however, can be hesitant on slick or shiny floors.

 

She is food motivated and eats really well. Cheeky can sometimes be sneaky and places her snout up on the kitchen counter trying to sneak nibbles of human food. Not to worry, she is easily correctable.

 

Cheeky walks well with a harness and leash. While walking, she becomes more alert with radar ears always scanning for someone to say hello to or something to chase. Therefore, she would benefit from someone who has a strong hand on her leash. Due to Cheeky’s elevated prey drive, she should not live with cats or small animals.
