Canyon
Canyon is a black and gray male deerhound/sighthound mix estimated to have been born sometime in 2021. He was found as a stray in Oklahoma. Canyon is undergoing intake at this time. It is unknown if he can live with cats but he is comfortable around small dogs. He is presently being treated for various tick-borne diseases.
February 2024 – Canyon was successfully treated for tick borne disease. As a result of that illness, he developed kidney disease which is being managed by a prescription diet, which alone costs almost $100 for just under 20 pounds. It is imperative that Canyon remains on this for the remainder of his lifetime.
