King Nominee: Spot
Spot, aka BP Backinmyprime, is a 6-year-old aptly named greyhound! "King" Spot, if he wins, is richly deserving of this honor. After a successful racing career of 99 races, he spent an unknown amount of time in the possession of a match racer here in Texas. He came into GALT's family from the Tri-Cities Shelter. He is a sweet, even-tempered, happy boy who never meets a stranger! He is an enthusiastic, yet dignified representative everywhere he goes. Spot's life has certainly been a rags-to-riches story, and his being the Mardi Gras King would solidify his current situation.
