March is Adopt-a-Senior Month at GALT
It is often stated that seniors are the best kept secret in the greyhound adoption world. You may be wondering why. Seniors offer so much for so little. They just want a nice soft spot to nap. They enjoy the little things in life, like a good romp now and again, and take most things in stride. They repay these simple life pleasures with an abundance of love and joy.
To paraphrase a popular quote by William W. Purkey,
"Seniors dance like there's nobody watching,
Love like they've never been hurt,
Roo like there's nobody listening,
And live like it's heaven on earth."
GALT currently has 4 Super Seniors and 18 Cheerleaders in its program. Fifteen of these greyhounds are available for adoption.
GALT's adoption donation fee is $275 for GALT Cheerleaders, ages 7, 8 and 9, and $225 for GALT seniors, age 10 and over.
Please take a look at GALT's Cheerleaders and Seniors and consider giving a lucky senior its heaven on earth -- a forever home. We are quite simply mad about seniors! How about you?
