Lady
Lady is a greyhound mix born in 2019. She recently tested positive for heartworms and will begin treatment in a foster home. We do not know yet if she is friendly toward cats or small dogs.

Meet Lady!
Lady is beautiful girl with a quiet demeanor and impeccable house manners. She is able to use a dog door or ring a bell when she needs to potty or investigate the back yard. Lady loads and rides well in a car and is still perfecting her “gimme five” handshake when bribed with a “cookie”. She has yet to learn any other tricks but will gently take treats from your hand, anytime!
Lady is wary of strangers and if not in the safety of her crate, she will warn the household by barking and running away. She’s not a fan of thunder, but will usually weather the storm well in a quiet corner or closet. She is most relaxed in a pack setting, loves playing bitey mouth, and is especially tolerant and playful with puppies. Lady is still coming out of her shell and “learning how to dog,” but when she’s not busy playing with her stuffies, she enjoys nothing more than laying on a soft dog bed, sleeping late, or indulging in some well-deserved booty scratches.
