Indiana
Indiana is a beautiful black female born October 30, 2020. Her sire is Barcia Bale, and her dam is Clover Cottage. Indiana has 80 races to her credit and was in the money more than half of her races. She retired in 2025 to seek a comfortable couch and a life of luxury.
Indiana is a bright, affectionate girl who approaches life with enthusiasm and a happy outlook. She loves engaging with people and is eager to be involved in what is happening around her. At times she can become a little overexcited, particularly when meeting new people or in stimulating environments, however she responds well to calm, positive guidance and benefits from handlers using positive consent-based interactions to help her regulate and settle. Throughout her assessment she displayed soft body language and friendly intentions.
Indiana has been assessed as workable with small dogs. While she may initially become a little excited during introductions, her body language remained loose and social, and she showed the ability to redirect appropriately with support and structure. Ongoing positive exposure and calm introductions will help continue building her confidence and manners around smaller breeds. Indiana has not yet been tested with cats, therefore a cat-free home is recommended at this stage until further assessment can be completed. Due to her excitable nature, Indiana would be best suited to a home with children aged 14 years and older who can participate in calm, respectful interactions and help maintain consistency around boundaries and routines.
Indiana displayed a low prey drive throughout assessment, showing little to no interest in movement-based stimuli. This suggests she has a naturally calmer approach to her environment and may transition well into a home setting with continued support and routine. Overall, Indiana presents as a loving, fun, and affectionate girl who will thrive in a home willing to provide ongoing guidance, structure, and plenty of positive companionship.
