Lego
Lego was born on October 13, 2016; he is tattooed though never registered. Using his litter number, we learned his sire is LK’s Now R Never and his dam is Jack’s Shortfuse.
Lego joined GALT after his owner passed away. This distinguished fawn boy with a sugared face is spending time in a greyt foster home in Colorado while we determine if he has any medical needs. Look for him to be available soon!
Lego is an enormous bundle of joy and energy. He is nine years old, about 80 pounds, and looking for his new forever home. He was an only dog most of his life, and isn’t able to adjust to living with other dogs. He is not cat tolerant, and is unknown around children. He is a very happy and energetic old boy! He has some arthritis in his left leg, and that hasn’t stopped him from jumping up and down the few steps in his foster home. He takes trazodone for anxiety and it has helped tremendously.
He is well potty trained and knows how to use a doggy door. He is very excitable when he has a backyard to himself, including happily romping around and digging holes. When he was an only dog, he was perfectly fine without a backyard and enjoyed his frequent walks. He is excellent on a leash and a good car passenger.
He is very affectionate and will do the full greyhound smile (showing teeth), complete with chompy face and big efforts to lick your face. His very excited face can look quite intimidating though, especially when he goes in to lick YOUR face. He occasionally rears up in excitement, and 80+ pounds of Lego coming down can be a lot.
Overall he is a big bundle of joy and going through a lot of changes all at once. Unfortunately he does not get along with our other dog, so he needs a new home. If you are wanting to make a huge positive impact on this senior boy’s life, please consider adding this Lego piece to your family.
