GALTX

Laura is estimated to be a four to five year old white and brindle female greyhound. Laura arrived with George, Lady Bird, Lyndon, Classy, Etta and Butch from a horrific cruelty seizure in West Texas. She is in stable condition, has had multiple litters of puppies, and has several scars on her head and neck. Both of Laura’s eyes appear to be in the early stages of Pannus. She is being treated for a positive titer to Ehrlichia Canis as well as a large load of intestinal parasites. Laura’s weight at this time is 59 pounds.

Laura has passed a cat test, but has not yet lived with them in a foster home. She is doing well in a foster home with small dogs.

UPDATE 8/23/2016

Laura has been successfully treated for Ehrlichia Canis and has a negative PCR test. Her eyes appear better also. She has completed all of her medical procedures and is ready to find her forever home!
