Morgan is an estimated 8 year old black fuzzy male found as a stray in a field in Waco. He is very thin and arrived with abscessed wounds on his right haunch. Dr. Jeff Ellis of VCA Preston Park Animal Hospital performed surgery on the area finding bone fragments and lots of infection. X-rays revealed his pelvis has been previously broken and is now healed in place. Morgan also has a positive titer to Ehrlichia Canis, and treatment has started. This is a sweet, sweet older boy who has had a very hard life. Thank goodness his life is going to be better from now on.
The special medical treatment cost needed by Morgan is why the Miss Mesa Fund was established. If you would like to help with Morgan's care, please take a moment to make a donation to the fund. You WILL and CAN make a difference in Morgan's life and the lives of other greyhounds in need of special medical care. Your help and support will make a difference - one greyhound at a time.
