Maggie Mae is a petite, 5-year-old, white-and-brindle female born June 2003, with striking brindle markings. Her tattoos are still being traced, so her true identity is not known at this time. Maggie Mae was turned into the Ft. Worth Animal Control by an owner who said they could not take care of her...and, obviously so, as she was heartworm positive. She was successfully treated under the care of Dr. Jeff Ellis of VCA Preston Park Animal Hospital and now tests negative!
Maggie Mae and Molly (the Grey tester): Sweet little Maggie Mae was a little leery of the cats. Molly, the resident Grey tester, was not very concerned about Maggie Mae. Maggie Mae followed the cats down the hall but had to be pulled to go by them at all. If she is around them much, she may get used to them and show more interest but at this point I would say that she is cat trainable. Always remember to use a muzzle and caution when introducing Maggie Mae to any new cats. She is currently living with a small dog in her foster home, and does well with him.
