Lucy is an estimated 3 year old brindle female greyhound mix. Lucy was found as a stray outside Dodge City, Kansas. GALT was contacted to take her, as closer groups were full. View Lucy's DNA results here. It is obvious that Lucy has had quite a few pups. She arrived with the typical greyhound "happy-tail", but thankfully it has not needed to be amputated. Lucy should not live with cats.

Lucy is a sweet and playful girl, who loves to follow us around the house. She is a fantastic cuddler and will go to extreme lengths to get in a good snuggle position. Lucy was a stray but has not had any accidents in the house and has adjusted to indoor living very quickly. She has been good in the crate, but we have not left her home alone for longer than a grocery store trip. Her favorite toy is a squeaky tennis ball and she will even play fetch! She is great with our other pups, but seems like she would be fine as a solo dog. When we see stray cats or squirrels on walks she gets very excited and tries to “play” with them. Lucy is very loving and lovable and will make a family very happy!
