Lacy Lacy

Lacy, aka Delhi Lacy, is a beautiful, eight-year-old black female with striking white markings born October 10, 2000. Her sire is My Boots Bingham, making her grand sire Wigwam Wag, and her dam is Pepper Upper. Lacy’s racing career of 9 races started on January 4, 2003, in Wichita, Kansas, and ended on November 12, 2004, at Mobile, Alabama. Lacy has also helped many dogs by being a blood donor. It is now time for her to find her forever couch and forever family.

Lacy’s cat test: No kitties for Lacy! She was quite interested. She met two cats and put a foot up on the end table to get to one that was at eye-level. Then she went back to where she saw the first cat and she couldn’t be distracted from gazing at the cat. We will test her with small dogs later and hope we have a different result.

Lacy

Lacy is a sweet, confident lady. She quickly made herself at home with us and was not intimidated by the male Greyhound in the home.

She loves attention, and likes toys. She tries to outrun a much younger Greyhound to the back of the yard, trying to catch our resident squirrels. She tries to get out the door ahead of him, but he just takes a different route around the pool so Lacy can't win.

She will make a wonderful companion for someone. Lacy crates well and may do well as an only dog (or with others).
