I love attention/affection. I will greet you at the door and let you know “I am the most important part of your day”! You will be overcome with my love, kisses and even hand nips to remind you to acknowledge me. I could very easily be an only dog. I enjoy exploring the foster family’s backyard, laying in the afternoon sunshine and catching a few z’s on the shaded back porch.
Squeaky toys are fun. I like them best when my foster squeaks the toy and gives it a toss. I will grab the toy, run around tossing it in the air and eventually dropping it. I am not a retriever, though I do love having toys thrown for me. Walks are important to my routine to help keep me out of your laundry basket. I've met small dogs and found them to be acceptable. I even met some kitties and they seemed pleasant enough, though I haven't lived with any.
Treats? Did I hear you mention treats? I am food motivated and I have been caught counter surfing…Don’t leave food unattended if it belongs to you. The word “No” is something I understand, and respond to immediately.
I am house trained and crate trained. I prefer to sleep in the same room as my foster family and their dogs. I just LOVE people, what can I say, I am social! I do talk in my sleep, I run in my sleep and I love to sleep with one leg in the air. If you have a heart big enough to love me, and my little quirks, I promise I will not disappoint you in the amount of affection I have to share.
