Dodge, aka Xtrem Dodge Ball, is a handsome 3½-year-old red fawn male born January 15, 2004. His sire is WW Time Warp and his dam is Alot of Heart. His short racing career of 24 races started in Iowa September 3, 2005, and ended at Valley Race Park on February 22, 2006. Dodge arrived with the greys at the end of the VRP season on April 8, 2007, and he was heartworm positive. Dr. Jeff Ellis of VCA Preston Park Animal Hospital started his treatment on April 24th, and he tested negative for heartworms on August 10, 2007. Dodge has completed his additional medical procedures and is now ready to find his forever home! Dodge is small animal and cat tolerant.
Dodge must take after his Mom because he has "Alot of Heart." Dodge's joy for life is catching. He'll capture your heart and make you laugh. This handsome boy is always up for an adventure. Loves walks. Loves to play. Loves snacks. Loves his toys. Loves to be petted. Loves YOU!!!!!
Dodge wholeheartedly throws himself into everything he does. Then he takes a nap! He is also very clever. He came to us untrained, but he picked up on home life right away. He learned very quickly that the food on his human's plates was not his, as well any item on the counter that looked delicious.
After he realized that the ficus tree in the kitchen was not considered a part of the back yard, he passed his house training homework with flying colors. If he needs to go out, he'll come over and dance around in front of us or poke us with his nose.
He sticks his head under your hand to get pets. He walks well, but we must warn his future family that he loses his mind with enthusiasm when he sees the leash. When we come home from work each day, he throws a party. We feel so welcome! We only crated the first few days. He prefers to roam the whole house and sleep on a dog bed next to us in the bedroom at night.
He needs a human family that is action-oriented who wants a greyhound boy who loves attention and interaction. Meet him - he's irresistible!
