Diva, aka Killer Diva, is a 2-year-old red fawn female born July 20, 2006. Her sire is Gable Dodge, making her grand sire Wigwam Wag, and her dam is Aa's Delta, making her grand sire Molotov. Diva has 13 races to her credit beginning January 26, 2008 and ending April 4, 2008 all at Valley Race Park in Harlingen, Texas. Diva is quite a reserved girl and is definitely no diva.

Diva's cat test and re-test: Diva passed her initial cat test, but after she had been in a home for a while, she was re-tested (over several days) with a different result. Diva (and cats) will do better if Diva is adopted into a home without cats. She has not been tested with small dogs.

Talk about a name that does not fit - Killer Diva she is not! This very petite little beauty is a bit shy but is really starting to come out of her shell. She gets along very well with our three big boys and is much braver about coming up for treats or a nice ear rub if the boys come up first...then she slips in right between them. She looks you right in the eye, even if she may not be very outgoing at this moment...so the expectation is she'll be a happy, outgoing girl once she gets really settled in at her new forever home.

She's a toot - she's discovered stuffies and is a big collector, taking great pleasure in making sure a stuffy is available in every part of the house. Sometimes the toy box is empty and there are multiple stuffies per room, so when she's ready for one...it's handy!

She crates well and sleeps in her crate at night. She's doing very well on her potty training and if she's had an accident, it's because Mom has not been paying attention. She is a young dog, and like most youngsters thinks it's good to test some things with her mouth. She does respond to "no" and immediately quits the activity, but it will be a good idea to crate her while you're gone, and to keep an eye on her until she gets through this stage. She walks well on the leash and does enjoy her outings with all of us.

Diva is a sweet little girl who will probably do best in a home with adults and maybe another dog or two. The patience required to continue to let her personality develop at her pace is so worth it when you look into those beautiful kohl-lined eyes and see the enjoyment she gets from your attention...you can see she really wants to be a "Diva" and one day, she will be!
