Dancer, aka Fancy Dancer, is a good-looking 3½-year-old red brindle male, born July 19, 2003. His sire is the late Gable Dodge, and his dam is Lady Mae Dancer, making his grandsire the famous Irish greyhound, Fortress. Dancer was a Grade AA racer starting at the Corpus Christi track on April 10, 2005, and finished his last race November 17, 2006. He suffered a dropped thigh muscle which ended his career. It will not affect his quality of life as a companion pet at all. Dancer is cat tolerant and also is gentle with the one-year-old toddler in his foster home.
