My name is Chevalier though my foster family says that’s a pretty big name for me! I am a fun-loving and goofy boy who loves going on walks. In my excitement, I might pull a little at first but I quickly calm down. Sometimes I get a little distracted on walks, but with a gentle reminder, I’ll keep walking. I love to meet people, and behave well by not jumping on them! I love food!!!! I’ll eat just about anything you give me; I’m not picky. I don’t understand how to “wait my turn” yet, so I tend to be a little pushy during snack times. I don’t get mad when others try to take my food, though. I might be a little interested in what delights you have hiding on the counter, but I won’t take them if you tell me not to. I’m learning counters are for people, not greyhounds! I love to snuggle and I will climb into your lap if you let me. I failed my initial kitty test and have shown to be far too interested in small dogs, but larger dogs are just fine. In fact, I would do better in a pack versus being an only dog. I love friends - people, well-behaved children, larger dogs, toys, everything! I haven’t spent any time in a crate at my foster family’s home – I do great being confined to a couple of rooms with my pack. Also, I ride well in a car. I don’t get sick and usually lay quietly. I am a sweet, smart, playful, and handsome boy! I would love to have a family of my own with other dogs and a yard to play. Do you have a pack waiting for me?
