Bush

Bush, aka Sobe Bushwhacker, is a 3-year-old red male born July 22, 2008. His sire is the late, great Dodgem by Design and his dam is Craigie Pretty. Bush has 29 races at VictoryLand to his credit on Greyhound-data.com, starting on May 12, 2010 and ending on January 28, 2011. Bush is one of five dogs that came to GALT when the VictoryLand track closed. This handsome hunk of a greyhound is on the search for a forever family!

Bush is cat tolerant.

Bush really likes to meet new people - he's very approachable and friendly. He can be a little unsure of himself if he doesn't know what's expected of him. If he's intimidated or unsure, he'll just find a place to retreat until he is no longer overwhelmed. He is very easily corrected. Bush would do well in a home where he will be gently challenged out of his comfort zone and generously praised. Bush would love to have a four legged friend in his forever home, and would get along fine with older children.

Bush loves toys. He likes to collects them, mouth them and toss them up in the air. Bush really was an instant fit in my house and with my pack of greyhounds and cats. He has picked up our routine very easily and helps lead the charge when it's time to go outside. Bush gets excited for mealtimes - he starts wagging his tail, play-bowing and happy-barking. He's learned that he needs to line up and wait until called for his food, and he's so proud when he overcomes his natural exuberance to follow the rules!

Bush is great with the cats inside the house, but outside kitties would be a different story. He is also learning about small dogs and should be fine after getting more familiar with them. Bush is one of those dogs who will continue to gain confidence and flower into someone's heart dog!
