BeBe, aka Lagro Be Be Gone, is a 6 year old, red fawn, female greyhound born on January 6, 2014. Her sire is BD’s Grayson and her dam is KB’s Go Mama. BeBe has an amazing 158 races to her name all raced in St. Petersburg and Naples, Florida. That’s a lot of races! When BeBe arrived to GALT, she had recently had puppies. It is not known at this time if BeBe is small animal or cat tolerant.
If you want to have your heart stolen, Bebe’s your girl! She is a sweet, cuddly girl who likes to sleep in laps whenever she can. She's a mature, friendly girl who loves people, greeting everyone as if they were old friends. Bebe decided living as an only dog in an urban apartment was not her thing. She would much prefer a quiet house in a quiet neighborhood. Another dog, large or small, in the home would be a bonus. She uses a doggy door, walks well on a leash and enjoys car rides. She eats anything put in front of her. Bebe is only crated for meals when other dogs are around, though she loves to nap in the crate and sleep overnight in it. You won't need a crate for confinement purposes, instead she likes to turn a well-appointed crate into her personal hotel room.
Bebe is a successful racer who is a bit of an alpha girl. She's not aggressive toward other dogs; however, if she wants their spot or the rest of their dinner, she stands politely over them until they give up the food or the spot. Bebe's a big strong girl and will greet you with a flash of greyhound smile when you come home. She is just so adorable and sweet!
Bebe would be a great addition to a home where she could assume the alpha role, have humans to love on and have peace and quiet.
