Andrew

Andrew is an approximately 2 1/2 year old greyhound/deerhound mix. Amarillo Animal Control found Andrew on the streets of Amarillo on August 7, 2015, weighing only 41 pounds and covered in ticks. AAC contacted the National Borzoi Rescue Foundation who agreed to help this sweet boy. But as he recovered and gained weight, it became apparent that he was not a Borzoi. GALT stepped in to take Andrew into its family when contacted. Andrew arrived with what has been determined a previous injury to his left eye. It appears to cause him no discomfort, nor is treatment needed. It is not known if Andrew is cat or small animal tolerant at this time.
