February 2 & 3, 2002
Arlington Convention Center
GALT is very proud and honored to have participated in the Texas Rangers 15th Annual Winter Carnival, for what was for some participants the third year. The Winter Carnival kicks off ticket sales for the upcoming season, and 2002 proved to be the second most selling tickets in Rangers' history!
There were lots of new and many familiar faces - animal lover extraordinaire Eric Nadel, the play by play announcer for the Rangers, GALT's friend Bob Sturm of 1310 The Ticket, Daffy Duck, Bugs Bunny, Edgar Lopez, KESS Sports Director, Texas Rangers players Kenny Rogers, Rafael Palmeiro, and Jeff Zimmerman just to name a few. Over thirty-five GALT volunteers spent a total of thirteen hours talking to the 18,000 attendees about the desirability of greyhounds as companion pets.
