Dallas Pet Expo took place on June 8 at the Automobile Building at Fair Park from 10am to 6pm.

This was the first outing for GALT's Greyhound Information Team (GIT), and it was a roaring success! Twenty of GALT's enthusiastic volunteers, along with their personal and foster greyhounds, spent at least 3 hours each, and some more, talking to the attendees about greyhounds as companion pets. The attendance far exceeded what has projected by the Pet Expo folks. Pigs were in attendance as well as many cats, even some hairless ones, ferrets and even snakes!
