Some of GALT's human and canine friends showed their artsy sides in March at the "Hermes Helping Hounds" event at the Artists' Showplace Gallery in North Dallas. There was a stunning display of Hermes and other designer scarves for sale, in addition to some fabulous jewelry and Arthur Court home décor items. Barbara Dornak Christian was also there, signing copies of her new novel, Hearts and Hounds. GALT receives a significant portion of the proceeds from the sale of each book.

Attendees not only shopped for GALT merchandise but also visited the entire gallery, sipping wine and enjoying other refreshments while admiring the artwork. They also loved on our Greyt Ambassadors, four black beauties: Zeppelin, Mooney, Bailey and Karma.

The highlight of the day was the arrival of artist George Jones, who donated one of his amazing greyhound paintings to GALT. Stay tuned for news about the auction of this piece at a future date!
