III Forks Restaurant in Dallas, Texas, hosted GALT's annual "Greyt" Athletes Dinner and Auction, sponsored by University Park Audi. Other dinner sponsors were The Pet Blood Bank, All-Pro Foundation Repair, and Cynthia Hayes and daughters, Sarah and Natalie. Flowers were provided by Cebolla Fine Flowers. GALT's greyhound video was produced by Shawn Fernandez and Wesley Williams. Guests were entertained by Jim Tennison, the Texas Rangers Promotions Coordinator and Mascot.

Celebrity athletes, Craig Ludwig and son, Trevor Ludwig, Randy White, Ryan Young, Marques Haynes, Jose Guzman, and Mike Kiselak were interviewed by master of ceremonies, Brady Tinker. Live and silent auction items, all generously donated, were plentiful, and the food was delicious.

GALT owes a debt of gratitude to Kristin Fields, Susie McQuade, and Debi Joynt, co-chairs of the event, and committee members Barb Bray, Ann-Marie Cariotis, Christy Geeslin, Claire Pulfer, Sarah Bray, Bryan Crumpton, John McQuade, and Sara Ramadan for planning a superb event. Other GALT volunteers gave generously of their time to help during the evening. This was GALT's most successful athletes' dinner to date.
