It's back to school for everyone!! There are several classes to choose from this fall - pick the one that your grey needs the most!!
Beginning Obedience & Basic Manners $125
6 week class - Sept 8 - Oct 20 (will not meet on Oct 6)
First class: Wednesday, Sept 8, 2010 at 6:30 pm
Sit, down, stay, come and leave-it will be covered along with basic manners including sit for a greeting, not rushing the door and jumping on people. All breed class.
Greyhounds Obedience 101 $125
6 week class - Nov 3 - Dec 15th (will not meet Nov 24)
First class: Wednesday, Nov 3, 2010 at 7:45 pm
Sit, sit-stay, heeling and leash work, come and finishes will be covered.
Self-Control (Excited Dog) Class $125
6 week class - Nov 3 - Dec 15th (will not meet Nov 24)
First class: Wednesday, Nov 3, 2010 at 8:45 pm
Finally - help for the overexcited dog (and for us).

Cost $35.00 per dog /handler
• Does your dog run when it’s time to trim nails?
• Does the thought of trimming fill you with dread?
• Would you like to get your dog’s nails shorter but don’t know how?
Using a Nail dremel (rotary tool) will make your life (and you dog’s SO) much easier! IF you have a dog with black nails then this workshop is a MUST! You will bring a dremel (fully charged) to the class and your dog, and we will work with each person as well as provide group instruction and a live demonstration on how to grind.
Space is very limited in this class so don't wait to register!

Embroidered Tag Collars
 New and the latest in stylish safety gear for your greyhound (or any canine for that matter). This is a a low profile embroidered 1" tag collar custom made just for your hound. The safety of our hounds is important so invest in one today - if the unthinkable happens and they escape, you will be glad you did!! The collars are made by GALT's Holly Goodlet...you may know her as the GreytStocking lady!
Below is the style we are currently offering:
- 1" Tag collar embroidered with choice of ribbon and thread, dog's name and phone number will be embroidered (this collar not lined)
Instructions for measuring:
Measurement A: measure around the thickest part of the hounds head (so the collar can slip over)
Measurement B: measure around the part of the hounds neck where you want the tag collar to lay.
Please make your ribbon and thread selections from those in the picture and select them in the drop down boxes below.
Please allow 2-3 weeks to receive your collar!! It will be shipped separately from other items in you order.
Collar Return Policy
"Custom" Embroidered Collars are NOT returnable.
If there is a flaw in workmanship or construction of the custom collar, it will be fixed for you free of charge and all shipping paid.
**SIZING ON CUSTOM EMBROIDERED COLLARS AND RETURN POLICY**
Custom embroidered collars are each made specifically for your individual dog, PLEASE be as accurate as possble when making measurements for an embroidered collar. These measurements insure that the hardware doesn't cover the embroidery. If you receive your collar and it is too small due to your error in measuring it is not returnable. If it is too big, length can be taken off for a small charge plus shipping to return the collar back to you once it is altered.
If the error in sizing is not customer fault, changes will be made to the existing collar or make a new one at no charge to you (return of product is required, shipping paid)
Please consider a tracking number for your return as neither GreytStore or Holly will be responsible for lost packages.

Fun Fleece Coats with Removable Snoods
Kris Metz is graciously and generously helping GALT with her expertise in making these fun, functional, fleece coats. Kris' Koats are made especially for greyhounds, and the lovely models for the coats are Kris's own greyhound beauties - Holly, Excel and Phoebe.
The fleece coats are great for walking the greyhounds in temperatures as low as 35 degrees. For senior greyhounds, the coats are ideal as a housecoat or pajama. These coats are machine washable in cold water, delicate cycle, no chlorine bleach, tumble dry low, and remove promptly.
To measure a greyhound for a proper fit:
- Measurement A: From the base of the neck to the base of the tail in inches
- Measurement B: From the spine to the deepest part of the chest in inches
Currently Available Fabric Patterns are subject to change without notice, so you should include a first, second and third choice of fabrics.
Please only submit orders for Greyhounds. These coats are specificallly designed for their body shape and are difficult to resize for other breeds.
Coat orders will not be taken until fall - please check back with us.

Kennel Muzzle
 Kennel Muzzles are required for every Greyhound owner during coursing, or competitive active play with other Greyhounds. Also for inappropriate behavior while at home or attending meet and greets. The muzzle construction is a soft plastic grid regulation size. The adjustable headstall fits all Greyhounds from 40 lbs to approximately 90 lbs. The kennel muzzle is designed with an open grid-end for eating or drinking water.
Available in Black.
Two sizes available:
Small - 40-60lbs
Large - 60lbs or greater (will fit most greyhounds)
