GALTX

Ned is a 4 year old black male born in 2013. He was part of the population from the blood bank facility located in Cherokee, TX that closed in November 2017. Ned is being medically evaluated by GALT's veterinarians and hopefully will complete his medical procedures soon. Ned is not considered to be small animal or cat tolerant. Please check back periodically for updates on his journey to a forever home.

Ned is a loving boy who wants nothing more than to be with you; frequent ear scritches and being loved on are his top priority. He doesn't climb up on furniture, is not a jumper and leaves most things on the counter alone. When I come home with groceries he wants to help. He follows me back and forth between the kitchen and the car. If I change rooms, he usually comes with me. He loves stuffies and toys. He is gentle but playful with them, just nibbling at them, no torn stitching. Ned is a quiet guy who communicates when he needs to go out by ringing the bells on the door. We do not crate him except when entertaining since the door will be opened and closed a lot. He is perfect in his crate for short periods. Recently we had a houseful of people and Ned stayed quietly in his crate where he could hear everyone - a perfect pup.

He is very Alpha and would probably be best as an only dog. He is not small dog tolerant nor cat tolerant at this time. Other breed large dogs should be introduced first.
