GALTX

Larke is a 2 1/2 year old brindle female born March 1, 2014. Her litter was in the process of being tattooed when it was discovered that she had an eye injury, so she was not tattooed with the rest. Thankfully we had volunteers there picking up another dog and were able to bring her straight to GALT. Dr. Soileau of VCA Preston Park Animal Hospital referred Larke to to Dr. Robert Munger of the Animal Ophthalmology Clinic on June 27, 2014, to evaluate her left eye. Per Dr. Munger's recommendation, the remaining eye tissue was removed and her lid closed at the same time of her spay surgery. The right eye is perfectly normal and gives her excellent vision.

Larke has been living as an only dog for two years, but has returned to GALT due to a change in circumstance, and no fault of her own. She has passed an initial cat test, but has not lived with cats. She is fearful during thunderstorms.

New pictures coming soon.
