GALTX

Jacket, aka Fly Yellowjacket, is a 2 1/2 year old black male born on August 11, 2017. His dam is Kay Kiowa Flyer and his sire is Flying Fired Up. Jacket has 36 races under his belt starting at Derby Lane, moving to Palm Beach and finally to Gulf Greyhound Park where he suffered a career ending injury on February 12, 2020. Jacket was taken to Dallas Veterinary Surgical Center where he was operated on by Dr. Bob Radasch for his central tarsal bone fracture. An external fixator was put in place, and he will be kept very quiet for the next 6 weeks in his foster home. It is not known at this time if Jacket is small animal or cat tolerant.

The special medical treatment cost needed by Jacket is why the Miss Mesa Fund was established. If you would like to help with Jacket's care, please take a moment to make a donation to the fund. You WILL and CAN make a difference in Jacket's life and the lives of other greyhounds in need of special medical care. Your help and support will make a difference - one greyhound at a time.
