Buddy is an estimated 2 year old light fawn male found as a stray in the Wichita Falls area. The good samaritan who found Buddy was hoping she could keep him, but unfortunately she has several older rescues who were not willing for Buddy to stay. He is shy and everything is new to him. Buddy, like so many of GALT's strays, has a positive titer to Ehrlichia Canis. Treatment has started, and it will be at least six weeks of medication before he will be retested. It is not known at this time if Buddy is small animal or cat tolerant.

The special medical treatment cost needed by Buddy is why the Miss Mesa Fund was established. If you would like to help with Buddy's care, please take a moment to make a donation to the fund. You WILL and CAN make a difference in Buddy's life and the lives of other greyhounds in need of special medical care. Your help and support will make a difference - one greyhound at a time.
