Sweet

My sweet little girl went to the rainbow bridge today to run with all of her friends that have gone before her.  If there was ever a dog named appropriately it certainly was my Sweet.  She was so very gentle, friendly and patient.  She greeted everyone as they came in the door and she patiently stood by waiting for them to realize she was there.  She loved to place her little head in your lap and could stand there for hours getting the love and attention you had available to give.

Sweet

Sweet came to live with me in September of 2006 and adapted quickly to our home with two older greyhound brothers and a younger westie brother. She adopted her westie brother immediately and the two of them were always together. If one went out the dog door the other followed. Sweet loved to stand next to her greyhound brothers and use their backs as her head rest. She was so gentle and passive all of them loved her so much. This past Christmas when we had a house full of company, she stared my guest down when they had to sleep on her couch. She patiently stood by until they got up and she jumped quickly back into her spot.

My little girl will be surely missed.  Her sweet little face, her friendly nudges when I arrived home and wasn’t walking quite fast enough to the treats, the Saturday morning stare downs when it was past her regular time to eat and her head in my lap as we shared the couch in the evening.  She loved our time together whether it was 5 minutes or several hours she took whatever time we could share.  Be happy my little angel and say hello to all our loved ones at the rainbow bridge.
