Noel
Noel is a 2-year-old, petite black female born June 13, 2008. Her sire is Kiowa Sweet Trey, and her dam is Sunsands Tru Blu. Noel is the "C" pup in the litter, and as such, she was not individually registered with the National Greyhound Association. Noel arrived with 4 other greyhounds - Davis, Kelly, Nick, and Joy - on December 16, 2009, from a coyote hunter in Amarillo. When she arrived, Noel was very jaundiced, and her liver values were extremely high. She was teated accordingly under the care of Dr. Christy Soileau of VCA Preston Park Animal Hospital, and now her values are normal . She also tested positive to Ehrlichia, was treated and now tests negative to a PCR (Polymerase Chain Reaction) test for all the tick diseases. Noel is cat tolerant, as per her test below, but has not been tested with small animals at this time.
Noel’s cat test: Noel had very little interest in the cat, even when Omar was chasing the laser light everywhere. She had just enough interest to take a good sniff eventually, then on with inspecting the different house.
