GALT's DFW Greys are housed in foster homes and several commercial boarding kennels within the DFW metroplex. Arrangements to view any Greyhounds are by appointment ONLY with a GALT representative. Contact can be made either through email or by calling 972-503-GALT.

FAQ's about Greyhound Write-ups

GALT's non-refundable tax-deductible adoption donation fee is $350 for all Greyhounds under 7 years, $275 for GALT Cheerleaders, ages 7, 8 and 9, and $225 for GALT seniors, age 10 and over. A $75 deposit is required with submission of the application ($50 of which is refundable and $25 of which is non-refundable). The remaining applicable adoption fee donation is due when the Greyhound is adopted.

GALT has taken in 7 of the oldest greyhounds from a farm closing in south Texas. Four of these are Irish-born and bred, so they are GALT's O'Greys - ChaCha, Foxie, Patty and Madge. The other three are JoJo, Nice Girl and GoGo. Each has completed all medical procedures, losing most of their teeth from the severe dental condition. There is nothing like a senior greyhound! Please consider making a place in your heart and home for one of these girls. All they need is a soft place to lay and food for their tummies.
